British born, childhood/teenager in Kenya, (parents went to East Africa on teaching English U.K gov. contracts),  college education in the U.K and graduate education in France, neither with any exams, and now happily settled on the Wirral, I have worked in social care since my teens (am now fiftyish) in both the private and public sectors, from residential altzheimers, local council and trust care retirement homes, deafblind residential and occupational and now in my sixth year with autistic folks of all ages.

I have always had an interest in social care and alternative medicines/therapies and went to Liverpool College for the Diploma in Reflexology and two years later went to Wirral Met. for the Additional Techniques Diploma. I also hold the Social Care Diploma.

Fluent in French after ten years of married life in Poitou-Charentes; whilst there I worked with the deafblind so have a grasp on basic sign language. Mostly in East Africa till I was eighteen, I can get by in Swahili. Currently mastering the non-verbal communications of autistic folks, learning eye-speak!   A glance can say a thousand words....

Many lives, many roles, in many places...
